Blueprint Reading and Commercial Estimating

As a result of this session, participants will:

• Learn basic symbology (or sources of information to learn symbols), scaling, and re-scaling
• Understand which of the symbols (components) are the most prominent metrics upon which to build cost projection
• Learn how to compose spreadsheets for assigning cost to the metrics that have been counted

As a result of this session, participants will:

• Understand what a lasting professional impact should be to further advance the air duct cleaning industry
• Acquire working definitions of professionalism and ethics and understand how they interact with one another in the performance of work (include reference to NADCA Code of Ethics)
• Learn what a standard of care is and how it applies to the air duct cleaning industry
• Construct a paradigm for applying standards of care to our professionalism and ethics in the work situations we encounter
