The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) Partners with Yoshki to Combat Online Fraud

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J.—March 11, 2015 – The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA), an association of HVAC industry professionals, including air systems cleaning specialists, mold remediators and HVAC inspectors, is partnering with Yoshki, the growing force in brand protection and online asset management, in an effort to protect the NADCA brand and its members from fraudulent companies falsely claiming to be associated with the organization.

“We’ve received many complaints about non- member companies using our logo on their websites and business collateral, claiming to be affiliated with NADCA,” said Mark Zarzeczny, ASCS, the head of NADCA’s Anti-Fraud Task Force. “We want to protect our members while also maintaining the integrity of the NADCA brand —Yoshki’s tool gives us the ability to do both.”

Through the Yoshki website validation technology, potential customers are able to receive instant confirmation of a professional’s NADCA membership, when browsing online for an HVAC service company. When the online visitor clicks the NADCA logo displayed on a company’s website, the user will be seamlessly directed to a page on the NADCA headquarters website, which will instantly validate whether or not the company is a member of the organization.

Following this check, the visitor will then be presented with a message that confirms the company’s NADCA membership. Once this is complete the visitor will be returned back to the HVAC professional’s/company’s website.

“This verification tool prevents the illegal use of the NADCA logo and over time, will help build consumer confidence, driving more business back to our members and protecting their investment," said Zarzeczny. “NADCA adheres to the highest standards in the HVAC industry and we want only certified NADCA members to use our logo.”
