Fall Tech 2025 Sets the Stage for Future Growth

Posted on 09/24/2025

The 2025 Fall Technical Conference, held September 12–14 at the Hilton Minneapolis, brought together air duct cleaning and HVAC hygiene professionals for three days of intensive learning, certification opportunities, and industry networking. With a balance of classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, and the debut of new program features, this year’s conference reinforced NADCA’s role as the leading authority in HVAC inspection, cleaning, and restoration.

The conference drew a total of 197 attendees, including technicians, company owners, and industry leaders from across the globe. A significant portion of participants came specifically for training and certification. Between the ASCS and CVI training courses, 89 professionals invested in advancing their skills.

On-site certification testing had a strong turnout with 84 attendees sitting for the ASCS and CVI exams, underscoring the continued demand for NADCA’s globally recognized credentials.

Two additions that made this year’s program stand out:

  • Ignite Sessions – Designed to deliver fast-paced, high-impact insights, the Ignite Sessions provided focused overviews on emerging technical topics and business opportunities. Subjects ranged from fire damper inspections and cooling towers to kitchen exhaust hoods and coil cleaning. These sessions gave attendees a chance to sample new areas of expertise and left many eager to bring fresh ideas back to their companies.
  • Full Day of Hands-On Learning – Building on NADCA’s longstanding commitment to practical training, the program included a full day of hands-on instruction. Participants worked directly with equipment, tools, and real-world scenarios, allowing them to translate classroom knowledge into applied skills. This immersive format proved to be one of the most valued aspects of the conference.

The conference program featured both Technician and Advanced tracks, ensuring content was tailored to professionals at every level. Sessions covered everything from HVAC system basics to advanced source removal techniques, field safety strategies, and business development opportunities such as dryer vent cleaning.

In addition, nine exhibitors showcased new products and services, providing attendees with direct access to the latest tools and technologies supporting HVAC cleaning and inspection work.

The success of the 2025 Fall Technical Conference would not have been possible without the leadership of Committee Co-Chairs Matt Mountain and Brooks Ingrassia and the tireless efforts of the entire planning committee. Their dedication ensured a well-rounded program that balanced technical rigor with opportunities for professional growth.

Defined by the successful launch of new program elements and strong participant engagement, this year’s Fall Technical Conference set a high bar for what’s to come. Planning is already underway for next year, when the conference will take place September 9–12, 2026, in Norfolk, Virginia.

Professionals across the HVAC hygiene industry are encouraged to mark their calendars for what promises to be another outstanding opportunity for education, certification, and connection.
