NADCA Recognized for Outstanding Association Growth

MT. LAUREL, N.J. – November 13, 2014 –NADCA, the HVAC Inspection, Maintenance, and Restoration Association, was recently honored by its management partner, Association Headquarters, Inc. (AH), at the inaugural Red Chair Awards Ceremony, in the category of Multi-Dimensional Growth.

NADCA, the leading professional association for air systems cleaning specialists, mold remediators, and HVAC inspectors, was chosen for the award for displaying exceptional growth in membership, meeting attendance, non-dues revenue, and for developing a strong public presence.

“NADCA has experienced tremendous growth over the past year; we’ve seen a 22% increase in our international membership, 62% growth in meeting attendance for our Fall Technical Conference, and have been featured in many top-tier industry and consumer-facing publications,” said NADCA executive director, Jodi Araujo, CEM. “We are honored to receive this award and to be among other such accomplished winners.”

The 2014 Red Chair Award winners were chosen by a third-party panel of judges from applications submitted by the associations’ executive directors. An evening reception at the AH Leadership Forum featured the awards ceremony, which was designed to celebrate measurable success achieved by client partners throughout the year. Each award recognized an accomplishment that is related to one of the AH pillars: Multi-dimensional Growth, Engaged and Disciplined Leadership, Intelligent Use of Technology and an Unwavering Commitment to Mission.

Other categories and award winners include:

Engaged and Disciplined Leadership – The Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society™ (WOCN®), was selected after leadership made the decision to transition the majority of the committee work to task forces in order to efficiently complete more tasks.

Intelligent Use of Technology – National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS), was honored after it launched its first virtual conference. The 2014 Virtual Conference was such a success that the organization will be holding another one in 2015, offering complimentary registration in honor of its 25th Anniversary celebration.

Unwavering Commitment to Mission – The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA), was named the winner of this award after developing a consumer-facing platform, The Baby Safety Zone. The comprehensive and complete forum provides parents and caregivers with up-to-date and important safety information along with the opportunity to both share experiences and ask questions in a public format.
