Air system cleaning specialists (ASCS) have passed the NADCA certification exam, which is required for membership, demonstrating knowledge and understanding of HVAC system cleaning, NADCA Standards, safety practices, and more.

NADCA Certification
NADCA requires that all member companies have at least one certified Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) on staff to ensure that all cleaning is performed in accordance with NADCA Standards and Guidelines. NADCA currently offers the following certifications:

Certified Ventilation Inspectors (CVI) have undergone training based on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) I-Beam program for conducting building IAQ inspections. A passing grade on the certification exam demonstrates knowledge and understanding of inspecting HVAC systems, diagnosing IAQ problems, and reporting findings to the customer.
