Renewal of Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) certification is required every year. To qualify for renewal, ASCS technicians must accrue six (6) continuing education credits (CECs). CVI certified individuals are required to renew every three years, and VSMR certified individuals are automatically renewed when their ASCS certification is renewed. CECs for ASCS certification may be obtained through a variety of means:
